More space, equipment upgrades and more efficient process flows will ensure the high levels of quality required by aerospace customers.
Ravenna, OH – Oct 12, 2009 – More than 50 employees and company executives attended the recent ribbon-cutting ceremony that marked the completion of the expansion of the Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics plant in Ravenna, Ohio. The event featured remarks by company executives as well as an open house, recognition awards and a tour of the facility.
The expansion project was a World Class Manufacturing initiative with a focus on lean manufacturing. In addition to 7,000 square feet of new space, new equipment was installed and the facility was realigned and upgraded to provide lean and efficient process flows.
